My favorite band

Gondwana is a reggae group from La Pincoya, Santiago, Chile, founded in 1987 by I-Locks Labbé. Listen Bob Marley and The Police. Without any previous musical experience and only inspired by the good vibes emanating from this rate, I-Locks began recruiting people and formed Gondwana, friends and acquaintances of the Pincoya, the population living until today.
From scenarios Pincoya followers grew and stories. Some important moments of his career are his presentation with Los Pericos in 1994 and their two performances at the Festival de Viña del Mar.

In the Present,

Gondwana International maintains an unstoppable success, with an average of 150 concerts a year in a total of 20 countries. Highlights include massive and applauded his performances in the most important festivals of the Continent: Vive Latino y Extremo in Mexico; Rock al parque in Colombia; QuitoFest in Ecuador; Pepsi Music, Bob Marley Day, SummerFest (Along with UB40 and Matisyahu) and Carlos Paz & Love in Argentina, La cumbre del rock Chileno in Chile.

In early 2011 Maxi Vargas, left the band to start his solo career. The new vocalist is Mc Jona Gondwana.

I like this band for two reasons; first I spent my childhood listening to them, my cousins used to listening to them very often. And secondly I love the messages that are delivered, the peace and love that are transmit in each of his lyrics.
Within its large repertoire of songs I have two that are my favorites; the first is "Aire de Jah" and the second "Felicidad".
